Leonardo Longo, MD, is endocrinologist, Head of Institute for Laser Medicine of Florence - ILM, Professor of Laser Medicine and Surgery of Siena University (1995-2011),  Republic of San Marino University, e-Campus University of Milan, Founding President of the International Academy for Laser Medicine and Surgery - IALMS, Fellow of 24 Scientific Societies, founding and honour member of 5 Scientific Societies, President of the International Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine - ISLSM, from 2005 until 2009 and 2017-2019, President of the International Phototherapy Association – IPTA, for the years 2009-2011, of the World Federation of Societies for Laser Medicine and Surgery - WFSLMS (2013-2017). He is Visiting Researcher Professor of University of Bethesda and Vanderbilt, USA; Czeske Budejovice, Kladno and Prague, Czech Rep; Vilnius, Lithuania, Warzaw, Poland; Sao Paulo (Brazil).. He is coordinator of the International Master in Laserology, I.Me.La.S., sponsored by the WFSLMS and IALMS. Dr. Longo studies and uses the biological and surgical effects of laser and intense light on human tissue, especially on the skin, vein, nerve, muscle, tendon, connective tissue, stem cells and keloids, for wound healing and scars remodelling, diabetes and metabolic diseases, brain and spinal cord injuries, for cutting and coagulation and photodialisis in patients with chronic immunological diseases. Dr. Longo collected until 2016 more than 120 meeting titles and scientific publications, more than 20 treatises, 300 meeting papers, is Editor of Laser Florence Proceedings, SPIE Publisher since 1999 until 2004, then American Institute of Physics Publisher from 2007 until 2011, then Medimond Publisher; he is Editor-in-Chief of Laser Therapy Journal (Agipress); in the board member of 6 peer international journals, Laser in Medical Science (Associate Editor), Springer Publisher; Photomedicine and Laser Surgery, M. Ann Liebert Publ, USA ; Journal of Applied Biomedicine (Czech Rep) ; Leadership Medica (Cesil Publ, Milano, Italy), Acta Medica (Prague, Czech Rep), Dermatologic Therapy, Blackwell Publishing; Academy of Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine, Polish Medical Society Publ, Warzaw. Prof. Carlo Fornaini is a researcher and clinician in the field of laser dentistry, author of 200 scientific papers, most of them indexed in Scopus and PubMed. Prof. Fornaini studied at the University of Milan (Italy) resulting in MD, at University Hospital of Parma resulting in DA, at University of Nice (France) resulting in DU (Laser Dentistry), at University of Liège (Belgium) resulting in MSc (Laser Dentistry)  and at University of Parma resulting in PhD (Engineering). He got the Full Professor Qualification in 2019. He was teacher at the Universities of Parma and Udine (Italy), Nice and Bordeaux (France), Liège (Belgium) and Barcelona (Spain) and Researcher and Coordinator of the EMDOLA Master at the University of Nice. Prof. Fornaini was Visiting Professor at the Universities of Vilnius (Lithuania), Buenos Aires (Argentina) e la Habana (Cuba). He is Past President of IPTA (International PhotoTherapy Association), Treasurer of IALMS (International Academy of Laser in Medicine and Surgery) and President Elect of ISLMS (International Society for Laser in Medicine and Surgery). Prof. Fornaini is Author of the book “Oral Laserology”, co-Author of the volume “Laser Welding” and Contributor of the volumes “Les Lasers en Odontologie”, “Osteonecrosi dei mascellari e bifosfonati”, “Chirurgia Odontostomatologica” and “Manuale di Odontoiatria Speciale”. He is Associate Editor of the journal “Lasers in Medical Science” and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Laser Therapy”. Currrently Prof. Fornaini is Researcher at Micoralis EA7354 Laboratory, Dentistry Dpt, University of Cote d’Azur, Nice (France) and Researcher and Teacher at Stomatology Dpt, Shijiazhuang 2ND University Hospital, Shijiazhuang, Hebei province (China).
